Wrong IP address range


A reviewer noted that I should be using IP addresses from the range 192.0.0.0 - 192.0.255.255, as these are specifically set aside by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (IANA) for use in book and training material examples.

This is correct. Unfortunately when I wrote those examples (some of them several years ago when I first started the book) I didn't know that. Once I found this out, I didn't want to go through every single example in the book and re-assign "correct" numbering. Something to put on the list for future Networker's Guides.
