What's the setting for Windows 2K and XP? In Windows 2K this isn't a registry setting; it is in the system control panel. Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy. You must be logged in as administrator to make this change. See Microsoft Knowledgebase article 244627 at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;244627&Product=win2000. Also note that this doesen't work with the early versions of Windows 2K, as per the following article 257292 at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257292&Product=win2000. Applying the Windows 2K service packs will correct this. For Windows XP there is no Microsoft Knowledgebase article but, like Windows 2K, the setting is in the system control panel.
